Like a Camillimanestudio time was really expensive, could only attempt takes a few times and then had to move on.. factor in recording equipment only allowing certain overdub amounts
needed a lot of technical skill and some imagination

It was gonna be a Reggae song until John stoned off his ass went to the piano and banged out the opening rift and basically saved the song from being a complete waste. And then when Paul said they should release it as a single they all said NO
