worked very well for me. the main benefit was the silencing a lot of the dialogue in my head. usually i have 5 thoughts and a song going on all at once and it helped clear out all that fog.

We watched Forrest Gump in middle school and this kid just kept loudly laughing at the way he talked
And like the fact that he was laughing at it was messed up enough that it was making everyone laugh even though it wasn't funny
