rvido you have anything to support it being the reason for such a huge commercial moment tho? like it seems to me like a lot of people saying things like that (not just you) are just relying on the stereotype view of country music = rural rednecks. it seems like a lazy attempt to explain the trend which really has a lot of other reasons
there are a lot of young people who have been streamers for years that listen to more country now. to me i see the biggest rise for country music is the cacs in urban areas who are listening more now instead of things like hip hop or rock. but im kinda pulling it out my ass i guess

my point is the same thing against him basically where he seems to be ignoring the fact that country music is very popular in urban areas
honestly simplest explanation might just be that its a c***thing. and for multiple reasons the whites in general are just loving country music wherever they live. city folks dressing up as cowboys to attend the morgan wallen concert etc.

i dont think he was mad in the video he was joking around with friends. still think its bad but its just in the common way of casual racist ignorance that ive heard with white people who think its ok to say the n word cuz "its not the hard r" and they think theyre just saying it to their friends like how rappers do
i hope he actually understands why he shouldnt say it now and removed the word from his vocabulary in any context

and it was in a lull quality-wise in the mainstream like a decade ago so its partially a bounce back from that. mainly cuz the current stuff appeals a lot more to women than the bro-country era did
