do you have anything to support it being the reason for such a huge commercial moment tho? like it seems to me like a lot of people saying things like that (not just you) are just relying on the stereotype view of country music = rural rednecks. it seems like a lazy attempt to explain the trend which really has a lot of other reasons

there are a lot of young people who have been streamers for years that listen to more country now. to me i see the biggest rise for country music is the cacs in urban areas who are listening more now instead of things like hip hop or rock. but im kinda pulling it out my ass i guess
