Oh yeah I mean I haven’t checked it in forever, didn’t think there was a reason to
The slides aren't bad looking either
Obviously are way too overpriced for what they are now
But like idk if the original price was bad

Google says 60 dollars which isn't tht bad
If u buy them for like 100+ its a little silly tho
Theres obviously way more overpriced stupid stuff than yeezy stuff
I think the reason I judged it so harshly was that the cost of the items didn't align with the vision he was preaching about
Obviously a good portion of that was out of his control but if it was actually an issue to him I am surprised we didn't see public meltdowns over it (thats his go to when he is bothered by pretty much anything)
Like designer stuff is always overpriced, but most of them don't preach about wanting to make affordable things for regular people
To be charitable
Maybe that was a promise they made that they said would happen somewhere down the line (unsure of why he would believe this or how they explained that 500 dollar boots or 300 dollar sneakers would lead them there)
Or it could be that as a billionaire he had completely lost touch with what would be considered affordable for your average person
bruises writing a dissertation on the yeezy's rn
Its interesting to me
I dislike Kanye, but being dishonest isn't a normal trait he has
So I am wondering how the contradiction between what he was saying and what was happening happened for as long as it did

this man you think of as not being "dishonest" is the same person who said slavery was a choice and went on a multiple month media run about how much he loves hitler
i dont think honest is a word i would particularly use to describe kanye west

If anything i would argue that those are examples of him being overly honest about how he feels

Yeah
Like they are super unreasonable statements to make
But I think he genuinely believed them
my point was that kanye will just say whatever comes to his mind, whether he believes in what he's saying or not
As much as I like to rant about Kanye west saying and doing bad things
I definitely don't think his honesty can be questioned too much
He is extremely bold and direct with his goals and how he feels almost all the time and to the point of getting consistent backlash for it
there's just no way that kanye west, a man who grew up on the southside of chicago, loves hitler
it's just spiritually impossible imo
Just seeing this now
They’re probably in my top 3 bands so I love seeing any sort of praise for them, glad u like them
The band is high tier emo pop music, however throughout their career they rejected that title constantly, they were never fans of the whole emo thing
why did they reject the title?

he’s played contrarian his entire career. him eventually becoming a nazi was the logical conclusion.
