Good, tbh I've started learning Japanese and now I've got into kpop, what a little shifted my interest from Japanese to Korean
I also wanted to learn Japanese but that s*** way too hard
Languages in general are dope, really want to speak more so Korean is perfect for me atm

Is Korean significantly easier then Japanese? I thought they both are hard because of hieroglyphs.

Well Japanese uses syllabary which is already confusing af and then they got Hiragana, Katakana & Kanji and use all three mixed up in their sentences
Korean language is just based on Hangeul alphabet, which is very easy to learn imo

Thank you, I'll look that up, I've heard that they don't use Kanji

Korean is easier because you don’t need to learn Chinese characters
I’ve been learning Japanese for 3 years and it’s not bad at all outside of that.
Korean “alphabet” is really easy to learn and so are japanese characters. They aren’t difficult to draw and all of the characters are basically syllables that never change
Good Luck with Russian
, I don't think that there is anything wrong with learning any language in order to understand entertaiment, but I think first it's better to find out how it can advance your career etc.
In my life, I've learned only English, tried to get into other languages and I either can't find anything interesting in other culture or like with Japanese, I really want to understand these people, but I think that the chance that I'll use this knowledge to gain profit or for example move to Japan is very slim, and it's making me unenthuasiasthic to learn
Not to drive off topic, I think I'm somewhat inspired by Lisa and Sana since they know so many languages
thank you for sharing your perspective, there's a lot in there i hadn't concerned
i guess i've always considered language to be a thing for pleasure. the reason i chose russian was because a friend suggested it to me, and i thought it would be interesting. i also like rappers who were popular in russia, or at least more than the us.
i don't think i could learn a language for the sole purpose of a job, but if it helped me communicate with others i'd be interested

Yeah, I don't think that I can learn language only for a job either
Although I've never actually tried it but it seems the most rational way to learn the language is to live in the country where it is spoken.
I don't listen to russian music like at all, but I know that russian rapper Noize MC was on Shade45, and I think that this dude is pretty talanted, and Oxxxymiron is cool too.

i was talking about SC rap like lil peep and lil ugly mane
I def agree, but honestly i've never even thought about living in a country other than america. not cuz i think its a good place at all but i'd feel grossly privileged to be able to do instead of fighting for the people here who need it

LOOOL, yeah it's surprising how some artists just click with russian public and keep coming back with tours like every year. I be waiting for someone like Anderson Paak or Action Bronson to come, and instead ir's some not as well known (to me) artists.
Actually, it's an honorable reason not to leave your country
such a good song
such a great song. that album in general is super good imo, so what was probably the weakest song on that album for me lol
anyone here into got7? Been relistening to the DYE ep and i think it might be their best release yet
short and sweet, with the only weak track being the 5th track with an annoying reggaeton beat
really been 1 year since Ariaz debut and we haven't got 1 comeback, these girls really been dungeoned smh, was gonna stan as well
