Was expecting Batman in the mv or something
We really gon disrespect Mamamoo now
they just kinda corny to me, idk, all 4 members also come off as very annoying to me from the variety content I've seen (esp Hwasa). They had some nice stuff from 2014-2015 imo but after that
also their stans are awful, they're the "we're not like the other girls" of kpop stans

Oddly enough, i always thought their personalities were one of their few saving graces in that they felt more or less like normal ppl whose jobs just happened to be kpop idols. It was nice to see what seemed like geniune 4 friends w each other rather than seeing group members unsure how to act with each other like w other groups. This was more apparent when I saw them live- completely natural w being on stage despite being their first time in front of a small foreign audience.
All that said, their lack of good releases for whats been years now kinda had me stopped keeping up w them. The odd (great) collab here and there will make me think twice, but i think im kinda done w them more or less.
i have gone to a number and tbh the only one i really found fun was the first one i went to
it was at a small intimate club/bar and they had all the videos projected onto the walls
after that, there have been more and more, but they've gotten less fun each time
i think it's cause it just turns into an impromptu talent show/random play dance now. it's like 7 people dancing, and the rest of the crowd just there watching them.
i mean, it's amazing to hear your favorites in a club and hear that s*** BLASTING, but the crowd just kills itself w just standing there and watching other people dance.
i actually have wanted to try to kill that by learning to dj and throwing my own kpop nights at the clubs but its still a dream atm.
I am just assuming you are from the us where i heard that clubs in general people don't seem to dance that much. Well i hope when the Covid Era is over you can one day be a Kpop DJ. I just know in europe that 90% of the people there are dancing singing all night. Its an euphoric experience that I really miss alot. Very unfortunate that people you experienced aren't interested in actually having fun at those events.
In general did you go alone or with friends to those events? The first time I went with friends but then I mainly went alone and met a lot of really nice people and even an found an old elementary school friend there. Kpop really brings people together in a wholesome in my experience.
