    SOMI ON WEVERSE???

    idk the details but maybe...?

it's YG plus which is a subsidiary of YG ent, so I don't know if for example somi, blackpink, treasure ect would join but it's possible.

the much bigger news is Vlive...

ok so now that I've read more into it I can confidently say that yes the likes of blackpink, treasure, bigbang and maybe Somi will most likely be on weverse as YG plus has to do with the distribution of YG ent artists music I think?

everyone on Twitter keeps talking about it being a modeling agency but that's YG Kplus not YG plus

I'm really not sure what will happen to Vlive as we don't have the specific details of that yet, we'll just have to wait and see.

Expect to see a lot more groups and artists in general using weverse in the near future, Bighit have kinda struck gold with this platform.

ok, found this, Vlive will basically be integrated into Weverse, which is what I assumed.

it'll be a case by case basis I guess? I know for a fact some groups probably won't as they'll be on Universe (a competitor to Weverse that's being launched by NC soft), having various platforms is good for the market anyways.

some groups that are already on Universe:

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universe_(platform)

though this integration of Vlive + weverse will take at least a year. I wouldn't worry too much tbh, Weverse already has a bunch of groups active on it that aren't under the Bighit labels umbrella and I think Bighit want to expand much further which can be seen by what they're doing in collaboration with YG.
