He been singing since Para Tu but yeah he definitely getting tighter with it; as a vocalist I think he’s undoubtedly one of the most compelling at the moment

On DiCaprio 2 the (valid) knock against him was he was engaging in too much “fast rapping” (impliedly style over substance) but I think by and large he earns it tbh, I don’t perceive his rapping as an indulgent lyrical exercise at all

i’m getting dicaprio 1 vibes from this with the beat selection.

My one big gripe is with the exception of lauder too, I was surprisingly underwhelmed by the kaytranada and monte booker production on here tbh

Yeah the last point i definitely agree with. He’s rapping fast or switching his flows a lot at times but he’s definitely topically saying stuff throughout the album, it’s not just arbitrary
