Anyone use chatGPT for resumes, job hunting?
Only reason I haven't used any AI tech or chatGPT is data collection/privacy
Overqualified as a QA Lead and still having a hard time with landing a new role

dont use chat gpt for ur resume it is not good afaik, follow a simple process, and make sure you scan ur resume to ensure the correct data is bein parsed thats the main thing. writing a good resume comes down to being able to concise, quantify your achievements, and relate it to the job you are applying it to./
finding a QA job is tough right now, but it shouldnt be harder than a software developer job i think.
CompTIA releasing an Xpert series of certs. SecurityX is replacing CASP+ in the future and they offering the beta for $50. Best believe I’m chancing it.
Need some guidance yall. So im interested in doing either google cybersecurity program or python. Can some give me a brief breakdown of which they would recommend learning for an entry level expert with no experience/degree? How long would it take to land a job after getting certified and what is they pay like?

Python is for sure essential, but cyber is increasily hot, based on my experience i'd say in 2 years you could pull a good job, depending on your expertise and github portfolio too.
Do you have a graduation in that area?

If I can earn upwards of 50k a year I’ll learn it
Lock in
But realistically, can I earn like 60k in cybersecurity a year from now if I lock In?

It's competitive, companies are looking forward to people who can bring problem solving skills proven with their career path, with verified works, achievements, accolades (if possible), in the "situation, task, action, and result" method lines. Recomendations helps too, well, networking as a whole.

Easily. I think we hired a guy straight out of college to 70-80k
The biggest hurdle for for the cyber security position to take off is to getting C Level to take cybersecurity seriously and make management get on board.

But also want to add I dont have a degree. Is it still feasible if I make sure my portfolio is up to snuff with some examples of projects and what not?
