    Madrid feels more Spanish but if you want real Spanish you should go to Andalucía anyways and hit up Cadiz/sevilla/jerez, Barcelona I enjoyed living in. Beach access, cool architecture, sensible and unique city layout. Madrid has better museums

    Madrid is nice too though tbh you can’t go wrong visiting Spain beautiful country

    Andalucía definitely next up on my list, I’ve never been yet… south of Spain pretty much unexplored for me and I’ve been only hearing great things

    I did enjoy Catalunya in general though, Cadaqués one of the most beautiful daytrips I’ve been to, enjoyed that way more than the few days in Barcelona tbh…. Girona was really beautiful too. and Figueras or whatever the name was wasn’t all that but the Dali museum is worth seeing surely. stayed in Tossa de Mar for a few days and the beaches a bit further were so nice. good times, Spain won the euros when I was there too so that’s some cool memories

    But yeah Andalucia next up for me hopefully

    Oooo you gotta hit Andalucía for sure it’s the most stereotypical Spanish province, and so much moor influence. The Sherry triangle (Jerez, San lucar, el puerto de Santa Maria - port of saint mary where Columbus sailed from) makes delicious wines and sherry, Cadiz is a beautiful old city, Granada has the Alhambra, I could go on and on
    Hopefully moving back there in the next few years
