    But also I just recommend lower reps on dead lifts in general. Squats too but not as much.

    The more reps you’re into a set the likelier you are to lose form and hurt yourself

    so how many reps and sets would you recommend not to hurt yourself and what would you substitute to do instead of squats

    Well I’d say find a program you like and stick with it. But I like 5x5 programs for beginners.

    If you can’t do squats I would say hack squat machine would be the best replacement. If not that then leg press

    no i can do squats what i usually do is 3x7 i always try to get to that 25 rep mark sometimes i do like 22-24
