I have 2 adjustable dumbbells that go from 10-50 pounds each have been following muscle building YouTube tutorials with them and see that you should give your muscles a break and not work out every day but when I do that I feel I lose progress I’ve made maybe because my metabolism moves at light speed I’m not sure

Best bet is to join a gym and workout once/twice a week with a personal trainer. Workout with them for 3 months minimum and you’ll be set.
