Nice. U rly don't need a lot to get a mean workout in.
I mostly rock with kettlebells between 12-24kg. Feel like they're mad versatile and encourage a whole body mind muscle connection. I've always wanted to mess with a speedball though, my joints/soft tissue mad soft due to genetics so I mess up my wrists asap with a heavy bag.
best part of a home gym is you basically never have an excuse to skip a workout if im being honest

Agree, the proximity and being able to blast your own music is a game changer
mfw you do your park workout and get back in the house MINUTES before it starts POURING outside.
WSOTD:

Capping off making the 5 month benchmark of this workout journey with a jump rope endurance test (hit a new max), which I aint done in weeks.

unless you been eating like 3000-4000 on top of your maintenance which… you REALLY have to try to do that
either way use it for strength in the gym it’ll come right off

Tbh I think I was just super bloated last night
any suggestions for cardio beyond running that isn't too hard on the knees I can do at the gym?
I went from heavier weights to low weights/high reps and incorporating 1 day of yoga (free of course from youtube) and kettlebells one day. It has made a difference but it feels weird being smaller now.
My hardest challenge is not eating at night

elliptical or bicycle for cardio thats light on the knees forsure. or swimming if you at one of them fancy gyms. i think its good you're diversifying your training, there's a lot more to fitness and overall wellness than being big
