My dudes I want to work on my shoulders(make them thangs bigga)... what's the s*** y'all found most reliable and giving effects? I know there's a ton of youtube content about this but these muthafuckers skem all the time so experienced people with good heart pls share ideas for exercises

Get strong at Strict Overhead press. Working sets should be heavy. 3-8 reps. Hit some accessories as well ofc, mainly lateral raises and maybe some rear delt work. But pressing heavy over your head should be your bread and butter for big shoulders as a natty.

When I do lunges I rest the weight on the back of hand kinda cuz it hurts if I just hold it regular

drop the weight maybe? and also good amount of rest and a lot of protein, even post workout

way more enjoyable for me to put kettlebells overhead than barbells. im bad at doing an exercise if i don't like it so yeah i always neglected a lot of pressing
now push press, jerk, and snatch are some of my favorites. so yeah experiment n see if sumn clicks

I've had that some exercizes grow on me eventually tho, especially if i see progress, that's what happened with db pressing for me
So ima tough it out for now see how it goes
That's actually part of what i like about gym, challenging myself to do exercizes i don't like and making it one of my strengths from my weaknesses

Took my shirt off to change into some gym clothes and today has been the first day in I don’t remember how long where I liked the way I looked without a shirt on

I've been skimping on going to the gym basically the past couple months now and I'm never in the mood to lift (Though I do shoot some hoops here and there), plus my diet has been garbage. Been eating out every couple days, snacking frequently back at my home with s*** like low sugar chocolate, chips, and Cheetos.
