Been so focused on trying to make my diet as efficient as possible in terms of nutrition and volume that I’m loving cooking at the moment.
Thought I needed a takeaway meal once a week to help curb cravings but now I can go without. I wouldn’t of believed this two years ago lol. 😩🙏🏾
How we feel about Jeff Cavaliere? Been following his workouts for specific body parts on youtube
Was like 130 pounds July last year when I started gym last year . 170 pounds now .
Im 6 foot man so I was scary skinny (over pandemic I got my skinniest which was what inspired me)
But it gave me the freedom to just really pack the pounds on and not worry about getting fat . Idc about being ripped I was just tryna not be that skinny guy anymore. That's why I slowed down a bit tho as it's crazy how just upping my calories that bit more saw me gain so much weight so quickly. I was so skinny tho even now I'm not fat and got a muscular shape
Hadn't seen my friends in like months and this weekend they really noticed the transformation s*** was such a good feeling
My first week of free weight and compound exercises complete. I am definitely alot weaker than I thought I was now that I have transitioned over.
Does this mean I need to go back to the machines until I get stronger?

f***ing hate rest days. feel like im not doing enough
walk, mobility work, yoga, foam rolling, physical therapy exercises, etc. you can always do sumn that won't hinder your recovery but will actually aid in the pursuit of your goals and overall health

nah, you do them at weights you maintain good form on and steadily increase the load week to week. Stronglifts 5x5 is a pretty simple programme but people itt might be able to recommend others. At some point you'll plateau though as you can only increase weights so much, at that point you work on other variables like increasing reps at lower weights etc to break through those plateaus
still got them reps in though
First week of squats and my legs literally feel like I won’t be able to use them again.
Today's pump for the delts was pretty sick
