carbs get too much hate
Fr I don't see why people are so against it, important for energy and getting your calories in (esp when bulking)

in the right portions, all food is good
dieting question, more of a philosophical one though
so it's 2PM and i'm already at over 3500 calories burned because i ran 12 miles this morning and my HR stayed jacked for a couple hours after, and i still got another 6 miles and plyometric session tonight. so, probably gonna end up clearing 5k burned for the day
issue is, i'm only at like 1800 calories for the day so far, and i'm probably not gonna be able to stomach a big meal until after the session tonight. i'm considering just buying a couple bags of baked lays and a protein bar and just having that for easy semi-healthy calories(there's like 5 ingredients in baked lays). back in 2019 i was running crazy mileage(averaged about 150 miles a week from august to december), and that was honestly my dinner most nights
ik there's healthier ways to get 5k calories in a day, but when you're doing this much aerobic exercise does it really matter that much
there's a saying that if the furnace is hot enough, anything will burn
Anyone in where into running outside? Just started and don’t know how to pace myself

I used to use the app MapMyRun, you can set it to announce your pace every 1km
What’s the key for going from 235 to 215
Dieting?
Consistent caloric deficit, relative to your maintenance daily calories over a 12 week period will do it
And obv lift during this time lol

that's a crazy amount of work, props for maintaining that.
I had a similar conundrum as I do a lot of cardio but I also try to maintain a fast and be good with my meal timing (didn't want to eat after 8pm). So I ended up not eating if I worked out too late to maintain my eating window even though with the banked calories I thought I should've been fine.
depending on your age I guess that furnace saying might ring true but given my routine now It'd be hard to consume so many calories late in the day. but even then the sheer amount of calories you're burning makes it a very different proposition altogether. I've probably average 75-90 miles per week on my airbike the last three months and still refuse to eat if I workout too late.
only thing that might throw you off is the affect your meals have on your hormones but I'm not sure if that's something that you're concerned about given that your body is probably in a fat burning state after the workout anyway. this is interesting
do you have a diet / a workout plan?
depends ask around here ppl will give you advice and i dont

idk. its tough with just going all out on one meal when you're running so much bc if that s*** isn't digested or got too much fiber, a few miles into that morning run you're turning into a timebomb
also got to the point where i'm getting about 15 miles in a day, which i've done before but normally it was just jogging at like 7:30-8:00 minute mile pace
now i'm running 6:20's and 6:30's, and s*** feels just as easy
i'm starting real interval workouts soon and i'm hype. deadass might be doing some crazy s*** like running my last mile repeat in 4:20 this summer if i train right
we on that real grind now boys
