    Can someone explain to me what the hell "engage/squeeze your abs" mean and how to do it?

    Do I squeeze outward or inward? Outward as in I push my gut out to the fullest and inward I pull my core tight and "squeeze my abs" during my exercises.

    I tried both and I don't feel much of a difference :(

    Inward, I try to kinda force my breath into it too and brace my whole core (upper lower and back)

    did a little bit of core I think and arms and kind of legs. going to up it tomorrow or later today ill have a go at the punching bag but im bloated after tea

  • How this massive gym got like 200 dumbbells, whole sets of weighted barbells, like 5 curl machines, 20+ cable setups, and one dude still doing curls in one of 2 squat racks for 20 +minutes

  • And the other one was 2 ladies doing horrible squats and supersetting with lunges across the whole gym. S*** took at least 15 minutes

    what do yall usually eat if you tryna bulk?
    i meal prep w/ just brown rice, black beans, chicken breast and ground turkey, but idk if that's enough

    please help a skinny nigga out

    So I have dark spots in my neck which indicates I’m obese even tho I may not look like it . My bmi 32 rn so ima start working out lot. I hope it goes away :(

    chicken breast and ground turkey are fine, but they're lean meats and thus have lower calories

    • rice
    • eggs (+ cheese)
    • oatmeal
    • peanut butter
    • salted nuts and legumes
    • whole milk (oat milk if you don't like dairy)
    • some sort of protein powder
    • ground beef (80/20)
    • chicken thighs
    • olive oil

    if you're having trouble bulking, you need to double your servings. you're already past step one with meal prep, you just gotta eat more. making shakes is also a really nice way to just consume calories.

    if you're desperate, i've seen bodybuilders take shots of olive oil after every meal. i'd recommend just cooking everything with it, but if you need the calories, it's a good source of healthy fats and is loaded with calories

    Anyone on here do calisthenics?

    Is it possible to gain decent gains doing it?

    Seen online that weights are gonna get faster results but I am unsure why, I get why weights is easier and can target isilated groups but I am just starting out

    Tbh I think the main thing for me is to starting eating more. I dont even count my calories really so I have no idea of how much I’m eating
