back in the gym for the first time since Jan
gained ~20 pounds in 3 months from Oct - Jan last year. From 135 to 15sum
lost like 10 pounds over quarantine.
Now i’m back on the bulk train. wanna get to 180 then lean out like a mf
Aight lil update. So lil recap I worked out for 8-9 months before rona hit and went from 54kg to 70-72kg. Went from skinny as s*** to my goal body or near it. Rona hit, break up, depression, lost weight and got back to 58kg. It's been now a month and two weeks since I've resumed. And it's absolutely WILD. Muscle memory is a beautiful thing. I am now clocking at 64kg.
I hit a new bench press PR today (post rona) of 95kg at 64kg body weight and it went up smooth like butter when I struggled my ass with the 100kg at 70kg. What the f*** man I got skinny dudes at the gym telling me how I be doing it and if I could coach em
I try to explain to them how muscle memory and refeed work but they think I'm keeping some s*** to myself
Physique update: I like where am at right now. Actually I'm almost not giving a f*** anymore about the body cause I look so much better than a year ago and right now I'm just enjoying the process of adding more weight each week
But still, goal is to bulk the f*** up to 75, 80kg and cut. Never thought I'd say this but being an ectomorph is actually a beautiful thing when you got such an efficient metablosim.

Rona really f***ed up s*** for me
Had hernia surgery scheduled for April but it got scrapped because of the virus
Started doing some light weights a few weeks ago but that was a reaaaaaallly bad idea.
Limited now to just cardio and they even want me to chill on that smh
Probably getting the surgery in January now tho

This happened YEARS ago
It’s inguinal. Was either a weight lifting thing or happened when I helped my sister move to the third floor of her building
It doesn’t restrict movement or anything (when it does it’s a medical emergency). it limits my lifestyle tho
Had s*** insurance in the past and couldn’t afford the surgery plus the mesh they were using was getting recalled because of complications. It’ll be taken care of soon

i ran his program for a while and its aight but i don't think mixing the two is efficacious at all
imo training in powerlifting/bodybuilding blocks is way more efficient if your goal is 'powerbuilding'

I didn't go to the gym beforehand, but I couldn't return to playing sport for around 6-7 months.
I would be very conservative in regards to bench/OHP in particular as these put a lot of stress on the shoulders
