anyone know a good place to get cheap gym equipment? tryna set up a home gym, all i rly need is a bigass yoga matt, adjustable bench, bar for squats/deadlifts and some dumbbells. would have hit up the thrift stores but they're all shut down bc covid

Prices for weights mad inflated right now. The typical price is a dollar per lb. but last I checked it's 3-5 bucks a lb. I'd just keep an eye out for random good deals or to see if the prices trend closer to $1 per lb. while you train with more bodyweight stuff/resistance bands.

cable is ridiculous. i have to quarter my normal dumbbell weight if i use the cable machine.

yea when restrictions were lifted in my country and I could go back to the gym it helped me mentally a lot as well
Damn finally had a real workout today after almost 6 months.
Working out with a mask was woat but after a while when you get into a zone, it’s not too bad. I still don’t see myself going too heavy with the mask on.
