Don't try to do everything at once. Little improvements will go a long way if you turn them into habits. This is particularly important in diet and sleep. You're not gonna become a nutrition expert over night so don't get down about eating. I also switch up my workouts so if I run a heavy push session I might focus on volume or hypertrophy next time I hit those muscles. Being that I don't train for any kind of competition and have a good understanding about balancing programs, I use that to keep me interested. And don't be afraid of rest days or light cardio only days. Listen to your body. A lot of beginners get overwhelmed with all the chatter about bodybuilding but honestly just go workout til your tired, make sure you hit all muscles over the 3 days/a week/ whatever schedule your program is based around, and eat a lot and you'll get 6 months to a year of pretty solid gains while learning how to listen to your body and start to understand how to fuel it be and work it if/when you want to take it to the next level

Discipline comes in key here. As well as knowing the process behind habit formation. Identity change is the most reliable path towards creating easy habits that stick. So calling yourself an athlete, but also putting in the work, and starting to believe it. So that working out isn't something you have to do it's just what you naturally do because you're an athlete. It takes the effort out of it. Makes it easy and attractive.
