I have 2 options that im considering fam.
Option 1: Lose weight as much as possible for the next 2 months, 6-7 kg. No lifting weights.
Option 2: Eat all the protein needed, burn about 400 calories aday and lift weights. So i would eat around 1700-1800 calories and then do a little cardio and lift weights. That way I would lose about about half a kg a week.
Whats the best thing i can do?
What BK said. Option 1 isn’t a good idea. You could be using that time by also strength training that way you at least get a foundation. Option 2 is perfect just make sure you’re staying on point with calorie and macro tracking. And be careful not to over or under cut protein intake

I used to lift heavy 1-2x a week (compound lift 5x5 and then a few accessories for 6-12 reps) before covid. But only ever that much cause I play tennis 3-4x a week

ya you can over do it a bit if you cant handle it before covid i was lifting heavy doing the some weight every week a good thing about covid is that it got me to lift lighter but before i would do cardio 3x a week running for 7 mins and stair master for 10, but with me working out at home im lifting lighter like 30-50 and do biking for like 10-20 mins sometimes and iam not as drained when i go back to the gym i will continue to lift med with some days heavier

Stair master goated fr. And yeah I was glad to be able to even lift pretty light today, my buddy managed to get a 55lb kettlebell so did a bunch of deadlifts lol
