60g of product a day so 2 kg a month so 24 kg a year and my current cheapest option is $15/kg so 300 bucks on some powder. this is pure calculation

damn. I get like 30g per day and I’m the swolest I’ve ever been. haven’t touched supplements in years
i think all this protein s*** today is overrated compared to how i felt in 2016 and the research still needs to be performed more. I eat a lot of carbs and my muscle is not soft muscle

my total for one day comes up to ~140 from cottage cheese + greek yogurt for breakfast plus two 30g shakes morning and evening. my diet is very inconsistent aside from that in terms of protein intake and my goal is 140 for maintenance so i probably overdo it but thats how i make sure my protein and my economy is right
i dont believe in all the protein rich bs because i had to do research for cottage cheese and found out its a lot of false advertising out there

Just online, and thought it was an interesting quote from someone unexpected. People often mention the “runners high” in cardio which is true, but I’ve always felt there is a spiritual aspect to lifting weights as well.

I used to eat like that but once I cut back and realized my muscles weren’t affected, I knew the research is just more BS placebo to motivate people to keep working out lmfao. like there’s definitely a scientific “advantage” but I’m not a meathead nor trying to compete, I’m just tryna be swole as f*** and I’ve noticed the same if not more progress since cutting back and upping other areas like fats and carbs. maybe I just hate when things I was into go mainstream lmfao
fitness “research” is still in its infancy. remember being on Bodybuilding forums and all the macronutrient talk I used to think was for the steroid dudes LOL so I think I still have memories towards that and disliking how hyped protein is today

there is definitely a “lifters high” if you’ve ever tried to push a new max and broke through the barrier and that b**** starts moving slowly
I usually sense it while listening to music, I’d describe it as like the sound you’d hear if you were inside a tunnel and a thunderstorm started
it’s like a rush of endorphins. can be a little destabilizing if you never experienced it before
@Valentine @WRU if you guys want a good protein idk if they sell it where you guys live because i live in canada but try isolate extreme 97 s*** is good protein i believe 2kg costs you 100$ but its 35 grams per scoop i usually do two since i dont eat until dinner maybe you can buy it online it digest quick and gives you no bloating too
