because it was so damn hot outside today and doing leg day it felt like i was doing leg day in hell man tbh thought it was the end of me f*** i was even swearing in the gym when i was pushing myself

~800 so far but this is only to get me started while I shop around for more. So I’m assuming it’ll be a couple gs when it’s all said and done. I’m gonna slowly build the rest out over time, buying something else I need every month or so
I was doing the math and overtime it’s gonna save me money vs a gym membership. Plus being able to just workout whenever without having to travel will be glorioussss lol

I’m a pretty fit dude but there’s times in the gym where I swear I can fall asleep on the bench right there

Was a lazy sack of s*** April + May but finally been getting back into this month. Started doing 10 miles on a bike then walking for over an hour every day and it’s insane how much better I feel already

Sheeeeshhhhh I was thinking like 4k for me lol. But I guess it does add up quick. I got flooring (just interlocking mats) for really cheap due to a deal I got so that did save more money. I’d prolly be over 1k easy if not got that

Can save a lot of money buying used weights. Even used equipment tbh all this new fancy s*** is way extra. My fav gym looks like it’s straight out of the 80s Soviet Union
First week back in the gym had to go light
Went about 50% on upper body and only did about 25% on lower lol I could feel my hammys telling me not to go further
Intial soreness out the way. Going to take a little bit to get my strength back but not long.
Going to have to take time ramping back up to my normal deadlifting weight. Not sure how long it’ll take to get the grip strength fully back.
Bench press is a bit painful still on the right wrist. The axial pressure holding the bar is what the doc said to was going to be the biggest issue. But it’s mostly a pain tolerance thing and I’ve felt some soreness in my wrist so I think it’s helping with recovery.
