Yeah if you’re trying to bulk up you need the calories and the protein to build muscle
When you cut you need to reduce the calories but get enough protein to retain mass
The rest is all negotiable. You want enough carbs to sustain your workouts and you want some dietary fat to promote fat loss, but those numbers aren’t as important really

ngl bruh i try to get 5k at work min
Then walk 30 min cardio at gym post workout
Try to fit a 30-40 min walk in around as well and that should get me to 12k-15k
i was able to do 375 x 5 with the straps
and 370 x 2 with mixed grip
you deadlifting?
If your pulling more with straps than without that usually means your grip strength could be your weak point. Gym chalk is real cheap but allows you to get a better grip of the bar and helps prevent it from slipping out your hand. Now going heavy using the bare bar is just hard in general because the s*** will just slip out, but straps basically let you get away with having a weak grip whereas chalk assists your grip.
Now if you’re using straps due to an injury or don’t care for grip strength than you can ignore this, but that’s just my 2 cents.
chalk is way better i use it for dead lift and other lifts
i could just train grip with other exercises, they dont let us use chalk at ymca
