the problem with working out not fully rested is
1. You're not allowing your body to recover from past workout, so you're gonna miss out on gains
2. Because you're tired, you won't be able to push yourself to the max
3. You're more injury proned

i was not tired just that night before it took me a while to sleep almost 1 hour or so but i eventually got to sleep then the next day i felt like i was ''sick'' but i was not when i got to the gym i pushed though it and was fine i felt more energy after the gym then when i got there before but i get what your saying too

Went with my friend to his blink gym and got on the free weight bench (vs the supported ones at my planet fitness)
And WHEWWW.
it was bad.
At least I could still do a plate comfortably (and 140 too) but man very humbling experience.
But “it’s only up from here” so now I’m very strongly considering moving gyms tbh. (There’s no power racks/free weight bench at my gym)

Aye be careful tho gang, I know you said you had a shoulder injury recently so your stabilizers are weak as f***. I would do dumbbell presses, lighter weights under the bar and more lat based workouts to get your form and balance more stable to make lifting that bar even easier. It’ll help cause you also don’t wanna overcompensate one side and injure your shoulder again

my left tricep bigger than my right one even though i’m right hand dominant
but you can do isolateral tricep exercises, start off with your weak side and match the number of reps on the strong side
