Not necessarily, but the kind of traders who buy ATM weeklies on stocks with 120% + IV usually put a larger percent of their portfolio than they should in such contracts, Not to mention account size is irrelevant, a s***ty trade is a s***ty trade statistically.

I sell weeklies-45DTE on SPACS and the contracts expire worthless majority of the time.
