hey french f***s maybe you shouldn't have kept all your customer data in an easily exposed database so that you could spam them with promotional xmas sales deals emails. you dumbasses lmao. Very seriously! my ass

"consisting mostly of email addresses, but with a subset including also contact and order details such as first and last name, postal address, email address and phone number"
ledger the company was compromised and all customer data was leaked lol
better to change your name and leave the country before criminals bust down your door in the middle of the night and torture you for your seed phrase

only a matter of time
i planned on not using them anyways. the first few messages i got were off putting. it’s just crazy how coinbase seems to have a better security system than an actual hardware wallet

i agree and as long as you use 2fa with auth or a virtual number there's like 0% of getting hacked then since you can't get sim swapped
the fact that they kept those email addresses created a giant attack vector themselves. f***ing terrible OpSec for a company that pretends like they're the gold standard in security
NEVER trust the french

yeah i have 2fa on coinbase set up rn. it’s a great authentication system. i’ve recently switched devices and it was a bit of a hassle to switch all the google authenticator codes to the new device. nevertheless, i know that it’s a secure system
someone needs to sue ledger for false advertisement. the reason i chose them was because in the reviews i’ve seen, everyone was stressing how rigorous their security process was, but keeping sensitive data stored on an easily accessible database shows otherwise. company must die

ETH is now a deflationary s***coin
On the road to 20k

also make sure to turn off multi device when your not setting up new devices if the 2fa app supports it :-)
yeah it's f***ed they were keeping all our info
luckily I used a PO box and don't live at the address anymore but you'd think they'd delete peoples mailing addresses or not even store them for more than a few days like how hard is it to ask for it again
the amount of crypto phishing on my main email is insane though, I legit just send everything crypto related to the junk besides newsletters I've approved
I have been in a bunch of cex databreaches and then the ledger thing smh
I bought $2.5k worth of XRP at 0.62, another $500 at 0.51. All in preparation of the free Spark tokens.
It’s a long term hold for me, I think it can break a $1 by December 2021.

Do you have a nano wallet? Do you think since the leak is from July buying rn is relatively more safe?
It'll be more hassle returning it, so I'll see what I can do with what I got

As long as your seed is safe you should be fine
