few years back I took class on managing corporate responsibility. My big take way was that there’s no way for us to consume 100% ethically under late-stage capitalism. I drive a fuel-efficient car, buy used clothing when possible and purchase sustainable substitutes.
Ultimately, I’m not a big player. I’m pumping a couple hundred bucks into the system for ETH gas. Relatively speaking, I’m hardly a blip on the map. My footprint is essentially null.

yeah that's definitely true, there is no 100% ethical way to consume anything
it honestly just triggers me a little bit at the stupidity of the comments people will say crypto needs to be banned because of the power it uses but proof of stake and proof of authority blockchains are going to save the world more power than any of these people could ever realize
all legacy systems are far less secure and use way more power, blockchain is going to used for so many different kinds of systems over the next decade

@Lil_Neon_Baebows i was thinking that if ETH is used mostly for it’s utility then ETH would be doing worst when the market is up because most people are putting their ETH into use and when ETH is doing good it might be a sign of the market going down and less transactions

the market isn't so rational
the miners hold ethereum to drive up the price and people buy the dip so prices will the highest when it crashes
