It was for Guinness, but the beats do all really fit together. How often does an Alchemist pull feel like it belongs on a record? lol. Crazy how he has those different background pieces as Billy and Moor switch off. Reflecting that in the production is nuts. Or maybe they just recognized it and played it right. Either way, love a good back and forth.

I thought Moor would be providing some contrast with some lighter musical touches or whatever, and he does provide contrast in his delivery and energy, but he really keeps up on the rapping end. They always play off each other on transitions. All the features feel right too. That John Forte part on Scary Hours is transcendent.

Gonna be a while before I really have a hold on the lyrical content. Best part of these records.

Yeah––the whole instrumental palette of the record is incredible. So technical and malleable.

(Moor Mother is a woman btw), and yeah her and woods as a combo makes so much sense. Love her passion, especially on tracks like Blak Forrest.

Which reminds me that his feature on History Will Absolve Me is one of his worst wish that linkup worked out better

I'm still waiting for the Ka collab. There's an old Armand Hammer interview where they're all sitting in a diner and Ka just walks in. Apparently they know all know each other. Ka has been on like five Roc songs. Did a track with f***in' Chuck Strangers. We need that s*** in 2021.

I recall that interview––Ka was like, "Yo I owe you a record, right?" So dope to see those dudes have a rapport. And woods speaks incredibly highly of him, has tweeted praising him several times

The collab seems unlikely, but yeah that would be monumental

I'm trying to think whether I read this/heard it on a podcast or this was something woods told me when we met. I have a feeling its the latter cause I know we 100% discussed Ka. Essentially he said Ka is quite difficult to get a hold off and likes to do his own thing/be in control. But that yeah he had passed him the Warmachines beat and Ka dug it and was gonna do a verse but it never came about.

I read either KA or Roc say that, Ka obly works with people that he knows personally or is able to be in the studio with.
