    All the details man
    The sigils

The old woman at the Romani inn trying to apply garlic to the windows to ward him off.

I also swear that when the carriage is on the canyon and moving towards the castle that the motion slows down like a 1920s movie. F***ing phenomenal

When it has comical s***scenes and jump scares because it knows it’s the only way you would pay attention to a woman’s pain

Which is part of the meaning of the movie

I remember boy said he did extensive research for Lighthouse listening to mad interviews and audios from that time frame just so he could perfect the dialogue.

I was just watching a video about him talking about how to write screenplays And he said he never has Writers block because he researches and writes he researches and writes. So sometimes when he reads a sentence or misreads a sentence he gets inspired

Probably the best use of shadows I’ve seen in a film.

The way orlok just has copious amounts of shadows constantly cascading him when they first meet

Yes… to make a movie that’s 90% in the dark and have it look this good is insane work

It was clear enough that it was a feminist message, I was just joking
I dunno, I thought it was about men repressing and controlling women’s sexuality because they’re insecure about their masculinity
    I like your take

Hardest part was the whole sequence after homie loses his horse until the fireplace. Insane swag on every cinematic level

  • Dec 30, 2024

Making orlok/the Nosferatu a decaying corpse zombie of actual Russian oligarch looking nigga was an AWESOME inspired choice. Kneejerk reaction I'm like this nigga look like Jim Carrey............2 seconds later I shut up for the rest of the movie. MASTERFUL

Nigga had a giant mink to the floor and a cossack !!! Classic film lmfao

this one deals with women sexuality but we all have our own nosferatu of shame and insecurities where if we feed into it can make the devil come out of us

we tell people the evil exist within us they tell us it doesnt exist or its not that serious until it manifest itself often with deadly consequences
