Hoult did a tremendous job of selling his sheer terror when he visited the castle
Can't think of any other actor that ever looked that fkn scared . I felt bad when Lily accused him of taking the bag of money for her when he just wanted to seal the deal and get the f*** out of there.
that part was awesome

These are some of the scariest shadows and open spaces I’ve seen in a film in a long ass time. You will shudder.
Absolutely s***s on whatever Longlegs was doing.
Enjoyed Longlegs more tbh this one was pretty great though esp set design, costumes, and many of the performances (Kick Ass actor didn't work for me at all though and felt too wooden with his acting)

Two legends can coexist
Loved this a lot, best movie I’ve seen in a while
Really felt like you were there in that period with them
Incredible performances from all involved too
If doot approves, we got ourselves a heater

Longlegs was nice
This might be the type of movie where the EXPERIENCE of watching it has you 100% enraptured and under its spell, but then you don’t think about it at all afterwards.
lol I been nerding out about it all day with peeps ktt just dog s*** for discussion
It was alright bro. Eggers is great at what he does, but these type of stories just don’t interest me that much but I understand why people love it.
That’s fair
a seriously opulent, but ominous film. yet to glorious amount of attention to detail for the period which it's set in while the cinematography is immaculate. solid acting even lily rose-depp invokes isabelle adjani..
She knew what she was doing

Even though I'm a Possession hater

Sorry the way you type confuses me a bit and I'm not always sure what you're saying
I watched it one time so there's a very high possibility that I'm just yapping

I see.
Yeah. I don’t pretend to understand it fully. Lily Rose Depp is the glue that keeps it all together, she understood the assignment. I think some people have accused the performance of being too much but I think for the character it has to be a little performative and desperate and too much. The sense of repression, and battling with herself, and self-loathing was palpable. Just a great character.
