Nov 30, 2019I do feel her disappointment, since the entire point of her music is elevating the black experience in an elegant way but all she sees are white faces. although, the way she's going about this is a little misguided.
idk why noname can't see the fact that her very wordy, spoken-word, jazzrap kinda style would absolutely attract a VERY VERY different demographic than a lizzo or a dababy. She doesn't make the kind of music (especially in it's sound) that would get a crowd "hyped" like that, so of course the entire demographic make-up is gonna be mad different.
