me consistently creating content that is primarily consumed by a white audience who would rather s*** on me than challenge their liberalism because some how liking Lizzos music absolves them of racist tendencies

I love when these type of artists say stuff like this it’s like at some point they really thought they’d be performing for a crowd full of black people

It gotta be a crazy realization for the “blackness is my whole schtick” type acts that most of their fan bases are white people and suburban black girls overcompensating for becoming woke at 20

    s***s crazy

    It's not a performing thing

Everyone knows concert going is a pastime for young rich white kids, that's not a true representation of your core audience

    But yeah youre right

    s***s crazy

    This

They get shocked when morally conservative black people from the hood don't care for that type of stuff

Then get shocked when they're faced with the harsh reality that they never spoke to those black people

They should be happy that they have some sort of fan base at all lmao.

Niggas out here would kill to have some sort of following no matter what the group of people is.

Y’all really pushing the idea that black people can’t come to my shows because of black death and financial restraint ??? As if Dababy, Megan and Smino shows ain’t black as hell? Say you don’t like my s*** and move around lol

Black people go to concerts bro lol. Just not hers.

Niggas were out there for underground YG, Future & early Kendrick concerts when I was a big underground concert goer in highschool.

And besides why is she pointing fingers at anyone other than herself for a certain demographic not identifying with her? Cause she has the same skin as them she's entitled to them?

    Not at that time no.

But the more exposed, expensive &/or kinda exclusive artists get or become is when more white people come out it seems.

The YG concert was during his Just Re'd Up 2 days, almost got into a fight there too, the Kendrick concert was right before GKMC came out, but it was still mostly SXN 80 focused. That one was more mixed but still a good amount of black people.

The future concert like the YG was more black people than anything too.

I've been to hella Rap concerts in my high school & 18 to 20 years. Most concerts I would go to tho would be mostly "underground" & more intiment, & cheap haha like $15 to $30 a head. I only been to a very few huge major concerts.

I caught a lot of now major artists early too cuz my friends & I was heavy af into the online mixtape era in high school.

  • Nov 29, 2019

This would be like NBA YoungBoy complaining that middle aged republican white women from Alabama don't bump his s*** like they bump Taylor Swift

    Like...duh? Of course they don't?
