Just finished watching Avatar for the first time, can’t believe I never peeped before
Standout episodes would be Tales of Ba Sing Se particularly Zuko’s and Iroh’s short and Appa’s Lost Days
Got through with the first episode of Korra, hopefully they touch upon the original crew when they’re older, disappointed to hear they’re gone
Don’t know what to expect, but the animation looking good
wow the guy that voiced aang finally did an interview after 10 years. he's now 26.
now i can imagine aang as a young adult

back to finish this s*** up. on the bloodbending episode...Katara has such a good progression
This b**** is an absolutely perfect villain man
I swear Ima name my daughter Azula
I swear Ima name my daughter Azula
Better than people naming their kids Daenerys lmao
at the prison part and when I saw Suki moving like that, I was like...theres no way we get a rematch right...well
we dont get to see much in the way of development directly from ozai himself, but when you get to see the nigga behind all the stories, it still executes perfectly
crazy ass sleep deprived Azula>>>
rewatched recently and it still hits different after all these years
came to really appreciate aang and katara's characters a lot more. there's a lot of nuance you don't notice as a kid. azula still the best character btw
"Korra you've transformed the world more in a few years, than most avatars did during their lifetimes."
Sweats must've been hot when they heard that
The avatar series is bittersweet for the simple fact that American cartoons never lived up to that greatness ever again, and honestly have more or less gotten worse as time has gone on
It's a shame Legend of Korra didn't have them strong characters/character development that the Last Airbender had because that's the only thing it has over LOK in my opinion. It would've made some of the moments that were supposed to hit have more impact.

I say the way the story was told by having it be a continuous narrative helped a lot too instead of the seasons being their own individual stories for the most part like Korra was due to only being renewed a season at a time during the first two seasons (which makes no sense to me. How you not have the faith to give a household series their 3-4 seasons off jump? Wack). Seasons 3 and 4 and a good bit of 2 were great though.
