I’m still and will forever be confused how Roku died. Everybody was off the island, you’re the avatar get off the volcano and waterbend the water to move the boats along.

Sensible bending decisions don't exist in this show. Almost constantly I keep wondering why the characters do x or y during a fight.

Netflix and Nick should really consider adapting the books into a new season or two it’d just make sense and probably be more successful than Korra and the 2010 movie combined

i'll admit

i been watching avatar since it came out on nick bc i was a kid then and liked it a lot
then i started watching s*** like dbz and naruto and better anime so i always thought of avatar as a little kids show and i never looked back

i used to clown ppl for thinking that was their fav show lmfao bc i thought it was kinda silly

but rewatching it on netflix it has such a cohesive and intriguing storyline, especially realizing that a lot of the development was already foreshadowed in season 1

this is honestly a goat show, im sorry i was sleep

korra is also very good in terms of storyline, everything that happened in korra really doesnt retcon anything afaik

but aang is the undisputed goat

aang could take on kid naruto

dying at better anime and dbz being in the same sentence

Finally saw after years of avoiding it.
I enjoyed it, and understand why it’s so loved. But personally not too crazy over it

Wish there was more merch or a video game or something for this show. I want an Azula action figure or a Blue Spirit mask lol.
