Just when we thought we’d get a break, another leaker (whom I have followed for a while and who has been right many times) says this:

Change title to Nintendo Mario Cap Collection until that tweet happens

actual anniversary is Sunday 13th so we could be waiting another week

could see Astral Chain 2 logo and maybe teaser cinematic with a twist from the first game

and then full on Bayo3 details, cinematic, gameplay and early 2021 release date

They really seem to be taking their time with it, should be a very substantial update.

On September 16, Nintendo will have a management briefing meeting. To me - that will be the final straw. If they haven't announced the Mario collection or a general Direct by September 16, that'll be it for me. I'll drop all my hopes of anything good coming from Nintendo this year. I give them these first two weeks of September to let me know if they still have a pulse. If they don't respond, I'm pouring one out for Nintendo. RIP.

hope botw2 looks good. I feel like I don't enjoy Zelda games as I used to and from the trailer the game looked more story driven so if it does end up being well written I think I might buy it.
that being said, i know the whole Mario collection and botw2 are like the main games coming up but after keeping us in the dark for so long I hope they let us in on some of next year's games too

did AC sell well enough for a sequel? I thought it'd get ported over to PS4 now that it's been a year since it came out

It sold a over a million copies which exceeded the expectations of Nintendo and PlatinumGames. For being a completely new IP, it did well. Good to see. I personally loved the game. Didn't finish it (I was nearing the end of it but got distracted) but to me it was the first PlatinumGames game I've played and I loved it. Was GOTY 2019 for me.

Apparently it's not an investor meeting but some kind of management briefing session, but still would be really disappointing if they have that meeting and still have nothing announced by then.

naaaaa fire emblem was goty but I'm glad it did well. I feel like I didn't see a lot of people talk about it a month or so after it's release so I thought it came and went

It was lowkey clear since last month that nintendo had nothing major announced for this year so im not keeping my expectations high for the rest of 2020

They gonna bundle the hell out of the switch this holiday szn at a lower price and that's probably gonna be it

Two more weeks. Two weeks is what I give Nintendo. If there's nothing within the first two weeks of September, I'm moving on with my life and just accepting the fact that Nintendo takes the biggest L this year. Not for the lack of 2020 releases but for the lack of transparency. That's what I don't like about this situation.
