this 512gb microSD got me feeling so powerful
i'm so proud of my library lol, 100% digital

my shorty gonna cop The Outer Worlds and The Bioshock Collection
still got 212gb free though we really out here
100% digital is scary. Especially after the news of them closing the WiiU and 3DS Eshop
Eventually the Switch Eshop will close too and when your console breaks you will have no access to the games you bought anymore.

i feel you. the pandemic making it hard to stick to physical and i'm getting use to the convenience tbh

lmao
all my games are on my SD card which is so protected by everything but water
so if my console breaks i can buy a new Switch and pop my SD in
and if my console breaks around the time the eShop closes for good i'm sure I'll just be able to log in to My Nintendo (not eShop) and play my games as they are on the SD card?
plus.. if the Switch eShop actually closes i guarantee you Nintendo will already be selling me another entirely new device with an entirely new eShop and an entirely new chunk of content for another 5-10 or more years
you guys act like your DS and Wii collections are worth something LOL once you play the game fully once or twice, and 10 years passes nobody but you is interested in your collection
all i'm doing is downloading my games to a single SD Card instead of having 30+ different cartridges

but the games you bought are still on your Wii U or 3ds, right?
Also if there’s a switch 2 then all your data will probably transfer

I’m entirely digital on my Switch. Only physical games I have are the ones that came with it when I bought it. Even in my PS4, at this point 80% give or take of my games are digital. I have about 40ish games on it. I’m waiting to see how it’ll work with ps5 if it has backward compatibility. Would the games I own digitally just need to be downloaded to the ps5 or is it locked there?
will always go the digital route f*** that extra s***.
Being a collector>>>>>>>!

Ps5 is a weird case because most likely you will be able to download your PS4 games to Ps5.
Nintendo doesn’t do that.

Ohhhhh, oooops. Totally didn’t realize all your games were on an SD card but it’s still possible to be lost.
But to your last point my gamecube games still get pretty good use. Same with various PS2 games. It’s good to go back to the classics sometimes.
Honestly I’m the case that my
digital games don’t auto port to the new console, I’d probably just use an emulator at that point

I’m all for physicals but this a sexy collection regardless

You’ll just be able to download them to your PS5 and play them if they’re supported

trust me bro i'm always going back to my favorite classics but that's all done via emulator
i like to think i'm "allowed" because at one time i confidently owned the physical game itself and the console, you know?
because of age, many games being ruined by friends/time/myself and because my PSX, PS2, Xbox and Gamecube are missing in action in storage at my parent's place a few cities away - i'm just stuck with emulating
