cigaMi dont think Animal Crossing will hit 15 million
i think that they hit a lot of numbers very fast because of all the return players from the previous games plus some new ones but that contributed to the influx of early sales for sure
but the franchise isn't wide enough to surpass Smash or Pokemon
I guess we will see if that’s the case. Animal crossing has been doing insane numbers and a lot of people are playing AC for the first time ever.

So glad I bought Mario Maker digital. I’m currently self-isolating in a different location than my normal place of residence so half my games are at home.

It’s doing record breaking stuff in Japan, known as a super leggy series. Insiders suggest big sales in the US and the title had a 3,5x bigger start than New Leaf in the UK, retail only. It’s a phenomenon, with total sales crushing 15 this year alone, maybe even 20m.
