Yeah I posted the Deluxe afterwards, I checked wiki

She did literally the same thing then people doing today. A reissue with some additional songs and different cover, but plus a separate dvd bundle version as well 💀

    This is just so pointless

I had to check on AM when she said that lol she off that s*** that had Bobby Brown jump kicking out the helicopter in the thug lovin video

I wonder how SOS escapes the “streaming slop” narrative to downplay its numbers when the album has 42 songs with its deluxe

Because she dropped another album and included it as the deluxe

The original album still had 23 songs though which people would normally say is a long track list

  • Jul 16, 2025

All i'm saying is, i'd miss SZA's music significantly more than Nicki's music

Because 90%+ of those 42 tracks are good.

Sure but I don’t see how it’s streaming slop just because it’s 23 songs.

The deluxe wasn’t really that good but I’ll agree with you about 90% on the og album . Regardless i’m not talking about the album rankings. People usually downplay an albums numbers if it has a large number of tracks in the streaming era

I agree. Just wondering why it doesn’t get labeled that compared to others when it comes to numbers talk

Because even though it’s 23 songs it flows together nicely and the run time is only about an hour it’s not a chore to listen to. You could tell she put in time to make it an album experience instead of just slapping songs together

YMCMB have really been going out sad. For such a talented cast, they turned into caricatures of themselves and cant resist their envy towards other artists on other black-music labels (TDE, Roc Nation, etc.) who are much more corp-savvy and have a tightly-runned ship.

Because the music is good, if people get 40 quality songs they wont complain.

ngl, as a SZA fan, I definitely facepalmed seeing the tracklist initially.

It does flow good overall as an album. Even though I do think there's like 3-4 tracks I personally could do without.

I do miss/wish there was a way for artists to do a digital double album though frfr.

I’m not talking about the quality of the music though. People downplay morgan wallen album numbers by bringing up its number of tracks. Does that criticism not apply when the album is good?
