Growing up in LA I was thankful we were finally growing away from that on the radio. Maybe I’d feel different if I lived somewhere where “Loyal” by Chris brown wasn’t still played 14 times a day.

WESLEYS THEORYHe didn’t strictly “take the crown” per say, he called out to Drake and Cole to challenge them on wax. Cole dropped a weak diss and forfeited, and Drake put up a good fight up until The Heart Part 6, but he ultimately was outwitted.
Kendrick can’t win in the eyes of those who hate that he won to begin with. If he “defends” the title and goes Kamikaze on everyone, people will say he’s dragging it out and doing too much and that it’s corny. And if he doesn’t do anything, people will say he’s scared and doesn’t actually have the skills to go up against another formidable rapper. It’s a lose lose if he listens to those people.
What's killing Drake is the fact that he can't find a way to start this s*** up again without it being part 2 to their beef lol. But yeah, the Kendrick haters and beef lovers (yeah) to begin with, just find this beef weird for the fact that it stayed completely on wax. Most beefs don't stay completely on way like this one did. I know the pop out happened, but that was all show,
This beef just had very little real politics in it besides "who's the top guy"? Like man, Nas/Jay-Z was about who was the "King Of NY" not about the top rapper lol, I think that's why a good number of people find this beef weird in a way.
