Who was the last high profile HC candidate who succeeded once he got the job?
Shanny?
The Rivera hire just smells of control and manipulation lmao like who’s the guy we can get who’d be the least argumentative but still have a big enough name to fool people into thinking this isn’t a perpetually sinking ship
Marvin resume is way better than Rivera and they passed on him. That says a lot
I meant first timers, you know like how Chip first came into the league and was the big name, Adam Gase before he got exposed for being a dunce, etc.

How is it way better?

He’s won more games as a head coach than Rivera and went to the playoffs more. He didn’t win any of them
but still
RT me @Dxtr
no one wants to coach the browns

so Marvin Lewis’s resume is better because he has 7 more years of experience and less success in the playoffs with more chances. That makes sense

He’s shown a level of consistency That Rivera didn’t even in the short time he was a head coach. You could argue there were circumstances beyond his control that contributed to that but the fact remains, Marvin has tenure, more wins, and a ring. So he has the better resume
