    I think most of us in here and Drake aren’t even the slightest bit concerned as to whether or not Drake is losing his hold in the music game right now, he’s gonna dead all this talk about losing steam after the album does the usual Drake numbers

    My thing is we've heard this talk for YEARS

    DJ Booth even made an article saying Drake will fall off after Views then he had a historic run in 2018

    Its okay for a couple of songs to not be Gods plan level hits. We look crazy trying to pinpoint when Drake will fall off

    Cuz it won’t happen until he decides to.

    Probably since demo tapes tbh that was probably the fulcrum to this shift in my opinion.

    I think if this was the first we were hearing of drake in 2020 there would be so much more hype on the internet and irl

    I think Demo tapes did more harm then good. People expected an album and many were left disappointed with the project
    A lot of his releases this year have gotten lukewarm responses so it’s easy to understand why the average rap listener simply will wait for it to drop and check it out but that overwhelming demand for a drake song is no longer there

    That's fair. I think people outside of his fanbase are thinking this.

    What I'm hoping is that he had some undeniable s*** in the tuck. Because truly DDLT was made up of throwaways for fans.

    I think the 2017/2018 shift shows that he can always garner interest if the music is hot.

    Twitter seems pretty active as well with anticipation. However MySpace is definitely lacking the hype so you might be right he could be falling off forever
