This don't make no kind of sense, its Black Lives Matter which means it includes Black Women, y'all say anything just to defend some celebrities acting like they are immune to criticism.

The "you mad" angle is also dry, you really got no value in your post.

This isn't about what is fun it's about what is factual when addressing the loss of Black life, it's not a game. It's fulfilling to want Black Women to be seen in this subjects so yes I do feel fine speaking on it.

Y'all so used to ignoring other Black people so much, when people stand up for them they gotta be alts.

Idk I’d rather spend my time seeking out things that entertain me or bring me joy, instead of going out of my way to find something to be offended by and thus bringing more negativity into the world through b****ing about it online

    Just my personal opinion though

Just say you don't care about the inclusion of Black Women and go then instead of quoting people with dumb s*** like "all lives mater type beat". You are clearly out of your range and can't admit you were wrong.

It's not going out of my way to point out Black Women are ignored, you just don't care.

I didn't ask for or do I care about your opinions so keep em to yourself next time.

If Chapelle wanted to address the plight of a black man getting killed by a policeman who kneeled on his neck for almost 9 minutes, then that’s what he’ll do.

Seems like you want to gloss over that fact and make it about yourself and your own personal interests

And I will point out he doesn't mention Black Women who are assaulted by police too.

It's not about myself, if you can mention more than one Black man you can mention Black WOMEN who are also targeted just the same.

You going this hard in the paint for a celebrity as if people cannot be critical and point out what goes on.

Ignoring he does it and making excuses doesn't make it go away.

or maybe just maybe, its okay for black women to mad when again and again they see themselves being ignored or shafted to the back seat when it comes to issues related to race in america and police brutality.

You’re exactly like these white people who just go to the protests to loot businesses, while ignoring the true meaning of the protests

This special was about black people getting killed by police and no matter how mad you get that no women were specifically mentioned, you’re never gonna be able to skew the message

It's about Black people killed by police but only mentions the Black men killed by police.

    Makes total sense.

Calling a Black woman like a white person for wanting people like myself to be seen just shows y'all really don't care to listen to Black Women.

The true meaning is for Black LIFE aka all Black LIFE that includes Black WOMEN what is not clicking for you sir?

Honestly you could’ve had such a better argument if you brought up some of Chapelle’s past skits/specials to cancel him seeing as he actually has joked about women quite often in the past, but instead you’re still trying to turn his comments on the murder of a black man into an issue that serves your own self and ego

Him not specifically namedropping any women =/= him not caring that women get killed

How hard is it to get that through your thick twitter-educated skull

I had my argument just fine and where I wanted to thank you.

Nobody turned his comments on Black men into anything, mentioning he doesn't mention Black women doesn't erase what he stood for with Black men.

You can admit he has an agenda for manhood only even if rooted in a good cause and meaning to defend those who want to be free from police brutality and acknowledge it is focused on men. It was not about Black People as a whole, and Black women are lacking the visibility and it's disgusting because we suffer too.

He didn't name drop any women, and one died very recently and she needed to be talked about too, Breonna and women like her matter too.

It's a valid criticism and you getting mad over it shows you are more worried about defending his honor than a discussion of Black women being ignored for police brutality.

Y'all think people only care about this on twitter and that shows how naive and ignorant you are and that you clearly just don't listen to the voices of Black Women.

Just rewatched and this s*** was beautiful tbh.

I’ve never seen Dave so passionate before, sounded like he was on the verge of tears for a minute there. This man is a national treasure and I’m glad he’s been getting political on this netflix deal, he’s the voice of reason we all need during a time like this.

He only mentioned two unarmed people who were killed, Floyd and Garner. Garner because of the parallels to Floyd who is the main subject of the special.

It's about telling a narrative and story for him. The gender factor wasn't directly relevant to the message of what he was trying to say, hence omission. There was no agenda here about men, women, or whatever.
