anyone got a link to when ye & coodie link up in 2017 in front of paps?
I been looking for it for days but can't find it
Gonna dig deep on KTT1 this weekend and find it
3 definitely ruins the vibe of the whole series. Not saying this with bias at all. It’s like.. it was really nice seeing vintage Kanye and his humble beginnings. The Ye most of us fell in love with. Beautiful moments with his mom. And then we fast forward all the way to current and it’s just hard to watch and a completely different vibe. It’s the real of what the situation currently is. But ugh
Yeah part one and two had me truly remember how much i used to love Kanye and his work, but part three was tough to watch. It’s easy to forget just how gone he’s been mentally these past few years. Like really gone... He seems to be doing a lot better as of late though.
Ep 3 was very weird kinda scary at the end too tf
They made it seem like Kanye was all bad these last 10yrs
Why do I feel like barely anyone is talking about how we almost got a more positive version of I Feel Like That in 2018
Still one of my favorite unreleased Ye songs
it sums up Kanye's relationship with his father well when after he went on stage crying hysterically talking about his dad wanting to abort him, his dad calls him up and all he says is a monotonous "write your speech next time son"
Complete disconnect and lack of proper communication
I was looking at some pics of Kanye from 2016 a few weeks ago and came across this one of what he had written on his vans, it speaks to this, and also goes some way to explaining why Kanye himself has issues communicating his own thoughts often

The TMZ caption is pretty funny to read in retrospect. They had no idea who Coodie & OG were.

You can tell Ye was getting annoyed once he had to repeat himself about the bowls to his dad. His dad really didn't give a damn about anything he was saying on the phone.

This is through Coodie's perspective, nothing else.
He's witnessing a guy he used to know become someone else. He only makes peace of not being in his life anymore in 2016/2017 after like 6-7 years of not speaking to each other.
It's actually a fascinating piece.
Mike Dean hitting the stank face during Famous at MSG
s*** had me crine fr
Act 1 & 2 were like CD-MBDTF quality wise.
Act 3 was as unorthodox and all over the place as Kanye’s career, music, albums, antics, etc has been for the past 5-10 years. It literally all makes sense now.
Holy s***

His dad was concerned maybe for the wrong reasons but concerned for sure
Part 3 is a combination of a bunch of random clips where Coodie feels like an outsider looking in, a stark contrast to the fly on the wall feel of the first 2 episodes.
Donda/Kanye Foundation (2007)
Common’s Festival (2014)
TLOP MSG (2016)
China trip (2017)
DR (2020)
Wyoming (2020)
What a mess, the sad thing is the first 2 episodes are so good

So good. Most positive feedback I’ve ever seen on the internet for a documentary.
I didn’t even bother looking at social media reaction to Act 3.

Most positive feedback on the internet for a documentary was The Last Dance.
Seeing the BTS of the Everybody Wins pic was nice
It was like watching KTT lore come to life
