Very interested to see the public reaction to this episode, esp the last 45 minutes or so.
Cannot believe they were recording music in an open air aluminum building
Bro kanye recording verses on voice memos while on a PJ
why this mf coodie lie? He said it was 330 hours of dv tape and cut it down to 6 hours? Only 4.6 hours thought this last ep was gonna be 3 hours
After watching, you kind of see why though. I feel like we take offense to it because people are s***ting on albums like Yeezus, Pablo, and Donda but reason why I think itās valid is cause he truly loss himself mentally when Donda passed.
Has he really though?
People change over time sure, it would be weird not to, but his main ideas, confidence and beliefs seem to be the same/similar to what it was at the start
you ever met somebody that had a fixation with words? like correcting himself or others if they used a word with a negative connotation and like making them replace it with a positive word. Or saying a word sounds similar to a negative word so you can't use that anymore. And you just gotta like nod along and be like cool thank you for teaching me that. Seeing Ye talk like that reminded me of this supper narcissistic psycho dude I knew who did the same thing, s*** was so f***ing annoying but everybody was too scared to speak up and just pretended he made sense

F***. We lost essential footage cuz someone didn't let coodie go on the glow tour
The transition from this to 2020 is f***ing insane
As well as the 2018 Charlamagne interview to SNL
man said

idk why they wouldn't wanna document his legacy considering everything he was accomplishing at that time, like he knew he was on top of the world why not capture that for the future

Idiots
"hold up bro my dad don't even remember you man what are you saying"
that s*** prolly hurt to hear damn
Am I bipolar or was Ye spitting when Coodie cut the camera off talking about Deadpool
i felt the exact same.
it was weird. What he was saying was deep.
saying "i didnt feel right to keep recording" made it come off that he was talking crazy which wasn't the case at all
Has he really though?

For the most part yes but thereās intense amount of grief and pain behind it now whereas before it was filled with mostly excitement and positivity. The dude needs to really get proper help to deal with the weight of dealing with fame, divorce/heartbreak and the loss of his mom and best friend. You can say he has his way of dealing with it by creating, but as someone that has gone through mental health issues and had a parent that mirrors the same types of issues heās dealing with, it hurts to see him not get the proper help he needs from a professional.
He claims the meds donāt allow him to be creative but thatās not true based on the KSG sessions weāve seen in this doc and how peaceful and zen he seemed. He fights with media perception a lot and thatās why he refuses to āconformā

I feel thats the only real con I have with how many perceive Ye. They hold the camera fully until he says something that makes them uncomfortable. When he is telling you how he was feeling. Does it sound overly dramatic, violent or graphic? Yes but truly listening to how someone feels without dismissing it or invalidating it is important
lmao bruh I donāt know how you can watch all 3 of these and come away with the impression that he hasnāt changed
It's clear he changed after his mom passed.
And by "change" I mean he became the giant Donda talked about.
Donda kept him grounded at a neutral level (neutral for Kanye)
Kanye asked his dad to be by his side in act 3
You know to be grounded.
His dad still not around like that.

mfs be like "do you overstand me"

Dude he knew him for years though lol he knows when something aināt right and thatās the issue Ye has now is that people with similar opinions like this let him go off and co-sign EVERYTHING he has when a lot of the times it doesnāt seem all the way there
