Serious Interlude
What is it that people like about KD2 so much? I dont see it
Lyrically KD2 is better than KD1, but KD1 is a much better listen than KD2 in my opinion. I dont think KD2 is as enjoyable to listen to
Tend to agree. KD1 flows nicer as an album and is more consistent. KD2 has the higher highs but could also use some trimming
Crazy how each album just got better than the last one, KD3 > KD2 > KD
Don’t forget magic
Couldn't even stay stickied for 1 day smh
It can’t be stickied in music because it’s stickied in the Nas section.
"King's Disease 1" is Nas and Hit Boy getting used to each other, still bumping their heads on trying to figure out how they want to execute this album.
"King's Disease 2" is Nas and Hit Boy getting more comfortable with each other, and improving upon the last album, by having a better sense on how they want this project to sound, but still working out a few kinks here and there.
"King's Disease 3" is Nas and Hit Boy PERFECTING their chemistry together. They know exactly what they want to do, and how they want to do it. They finally accomplished what they set out to accomplish, and that's executing a near flawless project.
"King's Disease 3" is a modern classic album in my opinion.
honestly wasn't in love with hit boys production on these projects until Magic but he really went crazy on KD3

summed up perfectly
Nas dropping some of his best s*** 30 years into his career. That’s incredible
Gotta give the legends props for still being passionate about rap
After probably 8-10 listens I’d say it’s easily the best KD, but Magic probably better. None of them cracking the top 5 Nas albums though
Illmatic
It was Written
Lost Tapes
Stillmatic

Still probably album if the year, only competition is from Ka tbh

Ditto. Every day there's a new Top 3. As of today, First Time is my favorite song on KD3. I know tomorrow it will be another.
