I'm guessing because it was supposed to be the radio hit of the project
Yup, it was an obvious attempt at radio play and mainstream appeal.
Better than Mr Morale, JID, Pusha and Freddie? Wow
This runs circles around Mr Morale by the end of track 1.
Better than the other albums too. The Freddie and Push albums sound like they're gearing up for a hiatus from rap. Nas is on a mission here
Agree to disagree. That album is very important tbh like every song is important to the albums narrative
Kodak’s verse adds to the album
Kendrick pretty much says nothing on that joint tho
Streets Disciple is way underrated
Yeah it really is. Almost reminds me of the KD albums in a weird way
Streets Disciple is way underrated
one of his worst album. had a few great songs, but a lot of lows. beats were so bad on that album
The production is crazy on this and nas is flowin and going crazy too I never would’ve expected a run like this for Nas 5 years ago, even Kings Disease 1 I was iffy about but this Magic and KD2 have just been top tier Nas projects
What is it that people like about KD2 so much? I dont see it
Lyrically KD2 is better than KD1, but KD1 is a much better listen than KD2 in my opinion. I dont think KD2 is as enjoyable to listen to
Better than Mr Morale, JID, Pusha and Freddie? Wow
Id give the slight edge to freddie that album is rly good.
What's he talking bout on here
How he still dropping projects yearly 🐐
I know I talked at not getting the feeling from HitBoy’s production on the last KD’s but this album has really opened up HitBoy’s production for me
