I’m the only one that thinks NY 3 beat is nuts?
Nuts is pushing it, but I think allot of these beats are getting way to much hate
It’s Time is the best beat and prob my favorite song off this imo
Bugging, those pete rock beats on the common album are great and in a different class of what premo gave on here.

i'd say Light-Years and Magic 2 are my favorites of his 2020s run
This is decent.
Nas carried.

Whatd Pete drop?
It's fine east coast rap. Like, nothing too insane here but it's two legends putting in C+ effort and coming out with an enjoyable product regardless. Nas is in good form and Premier brings some kinda sterile but fitting production to the table. I can't imagine disliking this if you enjoy both artists, and I think the negative reaction is wildly hyperbolic, but I would also rank it below most of Nas' 2020s releases.
My favorite tracks are probably My Life Is Real and Writers.
The 2nd verse on Junkie is something else:
'88 Rucker park, trucks and cars
Hustlers, they were stuntin' hard
Thousand people copped hot as summer yard
Fresh out the subway cars, young Esco, no bum dress flow
Shopped at 2-5 to Nike dunked the God
Stoppin' was a little conscious monster, educated ignorance
Lyin' head ring on the index flex, let's get into it
Brought books, caught jooks
And stuck between livin' clean, and overcoming lawlessness
Tryin' to balance, the constitution writers
Knew the troopers, some are liars
A jambalaya combined with crimin' and law-abidin'
Something they saw inside
N-A-S and then Sony signed him
I'm just a humble giant
Stumble but fall forward, never backwards
What is your dream?
I'm my great great great grandfather's dream, one thing
When you make yourself too accessible
Some could lose respect if they think less of you
The music electrocutes
It's 'cause I'm a junkie
Still gathering my overall thoughts on this album but man it’s so enjoyable
i dont think people not in the know realize how f***ing sick and awesome is it of nas to do a graffiti shout out joint on this
brother nas is the greatest rapper alive its crazy there was time when life is good was considered his last good record
