so since I work when the post office is open I've had USPS pick the packages up from my house and I usually put them on a table and one mail man comes in no problem but the other told me he doesn't want to go in and to leave the packages next to the mail box but I leave them on the table because the packages can get stolen easy af next to the mail box

Buyers have money to spend on EBay, you’re not gonna get people trying to haggle down prices & lowball tf out of you. I would cringe selling my s*** on Grailed & seeing the disrespectful offers folks would try & pass on me. I’ve never had that problem with EBay, they got money on there & don’t f*** around

Worst part about selling s*** is having to pack it up & ship it out. I feel this immensely i started buying packing materials at Walmart & printing labels at home, it made the process a bit more bearable

Grailed has a lot of scammers and annoying high schooler lowballers, but if you’re selling a certain kind of clothing it’s got a more tailored user base. eBay has slightly higher fees and easier to make large numbers of listings. Best case is to find a reputable community on discord or the like with a big group that’s specifically interested in a few brands and sell through there, you can really gauge people’s reputation and avoid fees altogether, but it’s time consuming

I ran out of tape to pack a golf club and used the tape from the Amazon box that had the golf club boxes in it

I sold this Dizzy Gillespie tee for like $300 years ago and literally had dreams about having it back for a long time. I would wake up and look in the closet and it was still gone s*** hurt. The people that bought it had it listed at $1300 forever but it’s at $500 now I don’t think I could ever bring myself to pay that.

Most of the stuff I sold so far is my gaming collection stuff that makes up the 3 racks n some change, then a Supreme sweater for $200, a pokemon card for $120, a car model kit for $40 and some VHS tapes ranging from $20 to $60 that make part of the 4th rack and I still got a decent inventory left that I might be able to squeeze another rack n and half out of

...except one review that is bad that ruined my streak from a dude who tried to scam that I had to report to fraud investigation with eBay (that I'm still dealing with) and he did that to try to spite me

Yeah I'm not able to do much with it anymore and a lot of my stuff increased in value or are at/near retail price

I'm always between Arizona and California for my main job of animal raising/caring/training and my 2nd job of mixing music with the occasional production stuff

I have a full game PC now (which I also use for my side job of 3d modeling and then also my own personal music stuff) so most of my stuff I can emulate and condense down, n I have a modded switch 1

Half the money went to pay off my mom's medical bill and the other half was to upgrade some music stuff and fix some stuff in my house

The things left of my gaming collection are my disc case of like 30 loose PS2 games, my Xbox branded disc case of like 20 sumn loose games, and my ps1 branded disc case of 20 sumn loose discs - then I also have a Japanese Dreamcast with 5 games, it's vmu and controller and a PS1 mini with the og no a***og stick controller and its memory cards + GameShark that are still up

I sold my boxed games, my systems, my accessories all while keeping just my modded Wii, my modded switch 1 and my ps4 that is used for movies and streaming

I had stuff from SNES to ps4 era minus the Sega genesis and Sega saturn, and I had boxed games for all of them

Some of my biggest stuff was Pokemon Colosseum with manual in great condition for $160, GameCube Wavebird with receiver and back tray for $80, Pokemon Heartgold loose for $120, Parasite Eve 1 with both discs for $110 in box with manual ps1, Fatal Frame 1 for og xbox for $90 in box no manual, official Dreamcast light gun (wasn't sold in USA due to colombine but was meant to sell in USA so it works on USA console) for $70, Power Stone 2 for Dreamcast in case for $150 with manual, Resident Evil 4 complete GameCube with manual and has the "only for GameCube" symbol for $70, Paper Mario 1 for N64 loose cart for $60 and like a dozen or whatever other things like that

Then some loose discs and loose carts worth $40 to $70

Consoles worth $80 to $160

Accessories worth $20 to $50

OEM memory cards worth $20 to $30

Yeah video games prices have been peaking lately so def a good time to offload .

I do think prices will eventually fall back down maybe in like 5-10 years so if you ever got more disposable income in the future , can always buy s*** back cheaper
